At Pack 533, our mission is simple: To inspire character development, citizenship, and personal fitness in young scouts while nurturing their curiosity through hands-on experiences and outdoor adventures. We strive to create a family-friendly atmosphere where every scout can thrive, and where parents and volunteers can work together to support their children's journey.
For over two decades, we’ve been at the heart of the Cypress community. Currently sponsored by the Keith Elementary PTO, Pack 533 is a veteran unit with a proud history of developing well-rounded youth through the values of scouting. Every child who joins our pack becomes part of a tradition rich with camaraderie, outdoor exploration, and the opportunity to develop valuable life skills.
Scouting with Pack 533 means staying engaged all year long. Our monthly pack meetings, held at Keith Elementary, bring all the dens together for a fun-filled evening of activities, learning, and fellowship. Meanwhile, our weekly den meetings, scheduled on Wednesday evenings during the school year, provide a more intimate setting where scouts can focus on rank-specific skills with their peers.
At Pack 533, we know that learning happens best when it’s fun. That’s why we offer a range of exciting activities throughout the year that both scouts and their families love. From campouts that bring us closer to nature to our spectacular Rocket Day, where scouts launch their own creations into the sky, we make sure there's always something to look forward to. Our Holiday parties are family favorites, full of joy and laughter, and we take special pride in our annual Blue and Gold Banquet, where we celebrate the accomplishments of our scouts and recognize their achievements.
None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of our parent volunteers. At Pack 533, we believe that scouting is a family affair, and we encourage all parents to take an active role in making our pack the best it can be. Whether it’s helping to plan events, assisting in den meetings, or stepping into leadership roles, your contributions ensure that every scout has a positive, meaningful experience.
At Cub Scout Pack 533, we offer more than just activities—we offer experiences that shape young lives. Through our diverse programs and events, your child will gain confidence, leadership skills, and a sense of responsibility. Whether they’re learning to build a Pinewood Derby car, navigating a hiking trail, or working together on a project, your scout will learn what it means to be part of a team, to lead with integrity, and to care for others.
Join us at Cub Scout Pack 533 and be a part of a journey that is as rewarding for parents as it is for scouts. With each meeting, each event, and each badge earned, we’re helping to build the leaders of tomorrow, one adventure at a time.
