Cub Scouts is more than just outdoor fun; it’s about building character, developing new skills, and spending quality time with family and friends. In Cub Scout Pack 533, your child will:
Learn by Doing: Hands-on experiences like building and racing Pinewood Derby cars, launching rockets, and exploring nature.
Develop Confidence: Through earning badges and awards that encourage personal growth and teamwork.
Make Lasting Memories: From campouts to special events like popcorn sales, derby races, holiday celebrations, and the Blue and Gold Banquet.
Belong to a Community: Our pack is like a family. We are inclusive, welcoming all children and families regardless of background.
Pack 533 is open to children from Kindergarten through 5th grade, and we offer age-appropriate activities for each level:
Lion Cubs (Kindergarten)
Tiger Cubs (1st Grade)
Wolf Cubs (2nd Grade)
Bear Cubs (3rd Grade)
Webelos (4th Grade)
Arrow of Light (5th Grade)
Whether your child is brand new to scouting or has been involved before, we have a spot for them!
Cub Scouting is a family-oriented program, and parents play a big role in the success of their child’s scouting journey. We encourage parents to participate in our activities, whether it’s lending a hand at meetings, helping with pack events, or even becoming a leader in the pack. It’s a wonderful way to connect with your child while giving back to the community.
Pack Meetings: Held once a month, typically at Keith Elementary School, where all the dens come together for a big group event.
Den Meetings: Weekly smaller group meetings, organized by grade level, where scouts work on activities and projects specific to their rank.
Special Events: In addition to regular meetings, we host multiple campouts throughout the year, rocket launches, Pinewood Derby races, service projects, and more!
We meet Wednesday evenings during the school year, making it easy to fit Cub Scouts into your family’s routine.
It’s easy to join Cub Scout Pack 533! Simply reach out to us through the form below or visit us at one of our pack meetings. We’d love to meet you and help get your child started on their scouting adventure.
